Lip fillers usually last from 6 to 9 months but this varies from person to person.

Have a look at our lip fillers before and after photos to see what results you can expect.

Do lip fillers hurt?

We do everything we can to ensure you are as comfortable as possible during your treatment.

At Hc MedSpa we use dental blocks to anaesthetise both upper and lower lips during the treatment.

Can you get lip fillers when pregnant?

No. The effects of anti-wrinkle and dermal fillers treatment have not been measured therefore it is common practice to avoid these treatments until a little after the end of your pregnancy.

How Much Are Lip Fillers?

We believe that we offer the best lip fillers in Finchley at competitive prices.

Are lip fillers safe?

Yes, lip fillers are a relatively safe procedure to have done. All cosmetic procedures carry with them inherent risks and lip fillers are no exception to this rule! The best thing you can do is to source a clinician who is appropriately trained in risk assessing, diagnosis and management of the risks that can arise.

Can you smoke after lip fillers?

While we don’t recommend that you smoke, smoking will not affect your treatment results. However, smoking does contribute to poor skin and premature ageing so it’s advisable to abstain.

What are lip fillers made of?

Lip fillers are made of hyaluronic acid – a substance that is naturally found within the body. This makes it safe to administer and easy to dissolve if the need arises!

How long do lip fillers take?

In general, when you come in for fillers at our clinic, the whole process will take around 45 – 60 minutes. It varies from person to person depending on how much filler is being injected.

How long does swelling last after lip fillers?

The original swelling will last up until 2 weeks post-treatment however this will go through a variety of stages. The first 3 days after having lip fillers will produce the most obvious swelling due to the healing process. This is commonly mitigated by applying cool packs to the lips regularly and patience. The remainder of swelling after the 3-day mark will subside over the following 10 days.

Can you drink alcohol after lip fillers?

No. We advise that you don’t drink alcohol for 1-2 days post-treatment.
