DOES A NON SURGICAL RHINOPLASTY HURT?
The short answer is no. All of our dermal fillers contain lidocaine (a numbing agent) that progressively numbs the treatment area. We also use a cannula technique wherever possible to reduce the number of entry points and increase safety of the procedure.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NEEDLE AND CANNULA?
A needle is sharp and shorter in length than a cannula. It’s benefits are improved precision however it is more likely in the nose to affect a blood vessel, therefore we prefer to use a blunt ended cannula wherever possible for maximum safety and comfort.
HOW LONG DOES A NON SURGICAL RHINOPLASTY LAST?
On average a non surgical rhinoplasty will last between 9-18 months. The variance is based on the muscle activity around where the filler is placed, the density of the filler used and finally patient factors.
WILL I BRUISE?
Using a cannula technique for a non surgical rhinoplasty reduces the chances of bruising and swelling as a result of fewer entries into the skin. The chance of bruising is still present however anytime dermal filler treatments are carried out.
Avoiding alcohol and coffee the day before and the day of treatment can he,p reduce the chance of bruising!
